Fuel+ is a go to healthy breakfast restaurant for smoothies, coffee and juices. They believe in providing healthy foods/drinks which taste good and we’re all for it! Fuel+ is located at 471 Church St, Toronto and is open from 7:30am - 6:00pm from Monday to Friday and from 9:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Fuel+ is a quick 13 minute walk from Ryerson University and it’s located near the Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC).

Fuel+ offers many different healthy on-the-go breakfast options such as smoothies and bowls, coffee and specialty drinks, cold pressed juices and various healthy snacks and foods. They also offer a 7 day clean fuel program! (To learn more about the program visit their website https://www.fuelplus.ca/7days.) The smoothie’s are all gluten free, vegan, and contain no artificial colours, flavours or sugars.
Fuel+’s service is very fast and it was not overly packed when I went on Friday morning to purchase an Acai Berry Bowl for breakfast. There’s a causal sitting area where you can grab a quick bite to eat before heading to school or work. You can also conveniently take your meal to go if you’re in a rush! Fuel+ had a great atmosphere as the decor was trendy and it’s overall a great spot with very friendly staff that are willing to help.

The Acai Berry Bowl contained: Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberries, Acai berries, banana, cranberry kiwi juice, chia seeds, coconut and flax seeds. It was a great portion size for a quick breakfast that you can grab before class! The Acai Berry Bowl had a refreshing morning burst of flavour as the smoothie base was chilled to perfection. The banana, coconut, flax seeds and chia seeds added a great texture to the smoothie bowl, and I would definitely order it again! The smoothie bowl was $11.29 after tax.
I would rate my experience at Fuel+ at a 5/5 and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great on the go healthy breakfast or snack to grab before heading to class.
