Kinton Ramen - A Go-To Ramen Spot!

Kinton Ramen is a ramen franchise set up only 5 minutes away from Kerr hall. The restaurant is located 396 Church St, Toronto. It is open from every day from 11:30 am - 10:30 pm. Fridays and Saturdays they are open till 11:30 pm. Kinton Ramen is a perfect spot for anyone craving a traditional Japanese dish served fresh and made to order. They take all forms of payment.

Kinton Ramen offers all sorts of different ramen options and other Japanese food options. The two proteins they offer are pork and chicken. The restaurant offers you the two proteins in different types of broth and allows you to customize your own bowl (such as the noodles you would prefer and what kind of veggies you would like to add). Other menu options include appetizers of rice dishes, edamame, dumplings, and karaage (japanese fried chicken). The restaurant even offers a vegan option of deep fried tofu. Each ramen bowl is $12.99.

Kinton is usually busy during the lunch and dinner rush. I went as soon as they opened at 11:30 am, and it only took about 15 minutes for the restaurant to fill up. Additionally, the ambience is great there. The chefs which cook up your lunch right in front of your eyes guarantees freshness, and shows how dedicated they are at making sure they are known for their fresh food. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by all the staff as they bring you to your seat.

The dish I enjoyed at Kinton was the pork original. Usually my go to when going to Kinton, is the chicken original but I wanted to switch it up and try something new. My dish was delicious, the fresh meat melted in my mouth, the warm soup was tasty and savoury. The noodles are made fresh in front of your eyes and they sure do taste like they are. The addition of the egg and green onion was the cherry on top of a delicious dish at Kinton ramen.

The energy and freshness of the restaurant is something that any restaurant goer would appreciate, and it is an amazing place to bring your friends and family. I would rate my experience 5/5 as it is a fun, energetic, and pleasant experience overall. There is a 100% chance I will go again and I hope to see you all there too!
